PURPOSE

The purpose of the Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) Competition Cheerleading program is to provide area youth with the opportunity to extend their cheer season into the competition arena in a controlled environment that provides additional skill development.  The goal is to provide each cheerleader with training, support and encouragement while teaching them the importance of team work, solidarity and respect for the sport of cheerleading.

Team Composition

Registration will be open to all athletes that have participated in a football cheerleading program.  Exceptions to this policy will be made on a case by case basis.  Once registration is closed each cheerleader will be assessed to determine their skill level for squad placements.  Practices will begin in early November and the season will end in late March (with 4-5 local competitions).  Planned Teams: Junior~ 8 & under; Senior ~ 16 & under.
